TEDxCapU was initiated by creative thinkers and is backed by innovators within Capilano University and throughout our business community. We all share entrepreneurial spirit – also defined as stubbornness – and the absolute surety that we’ll reach our goal.
Our original idea becomes stronger and richer every time we meet with new partners and volunteers. Where did we begin?
Community businesses are as diverse as our population. Yet a common thread at business meetings is the necessity to be creative, curious and flexible to ensure our businesses are more than alive – they’re thriving.
Business owners are challenged by how to stay in tune with technology – and what kinds of technology. They are faced with transforming their products, services and customer experience strategies. They realize that they need to meet the expectations and needs of customers irrespective of age, gender or culture.
